The innovative new FemiLift is a safe, effective, virtually painless procedure that uses minimally invasive carbon dioxide (CO2) technology to promote collagen production and improve a wide array of feminine concerns ranging from vaginal looseness, dryness, stress urinary incontinence and more. To perform the FemiLift treatment, the doctor inserts a one-inch wand about four to six inches into the vagina. FemiLift does not require anesthesia, and most treatments take less than 10 minutes. FemiLift is a quick, minimally invasive treatment performed at the Avery Center. You can resume your normal daily activities immediately after FemiLift. Drs. Ofer and Goldberg caution that patients should wait a minimum of four days to have intercourse after the treatment. Mild to moderate exercise is permitted afterwards, but strenuous exercise should be avoided for up to a week.

Some patients report a watery discharge or spotting for a day or two after FemiLift, but risks associated with the treatment are minimal.
